Getting Started with GameByts

To begin your journey with GameByts, follow these simple steps:

1. Install the GameByts App

Download the GameByts app from the official website.

2. Create an Account

After installing the app, register using your email address. You will receive a verification code via email — enter it to activate your account and access the platform.

3. Set Up Your Private Wallet: The app will automatically prompt you to create a new wallet or connect an existing one. If you choose to create a new wallet, a 12-word recovery phrase will be generated - this is essential for restoring your wallet if needed.

Ensure that you securely store the phrase offline by writing it down. We do not store your private keys, so we cannot help you recover your wallet if you lose your recovery phrase. For security reasons, avoid taking screenshots or saving it digitally on your device.

NON-CUSTODIAL ARCHITECTURE: Private keys are generated and stored exclusively on your device. GameByts has no access to them and never transmits them to our servers. You maintain complete control over your funds at all times.

4. Add Funds to Your Wallet

You can transfer SOL into your in-app wallet from your personal wallet to make purchases. Ensure you maintain a small amount of SOL in your personal wallet to cover transaction fees.

5. Acquire Your Digital Computer

Browse the Marketplace and select a Digital Computer that fits your preferences. Use the available filters to narrow down your search and explore different computer types and attributes.

6. Begin Your GameByts Experience

Once your Digital Computer is purchased, it begins charging automatically. Power is charging at a rate of 25% from the maximum capacity every 6 hours, and you can start earning as soon as your Power Level reaches 25%.

Security Tip: For added account protection, we highly recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) within your profile settings.
