# BYT Cap/Mechanics

Earning Cap

GameByts features two primary earning limits: the Daily Power Cap and the Daily Token Cap. These caps regulate how much Power a user can access each day and how many tokens they can earn.

Daily Power Cap

* Users start with 2/2 Power.
* The maximum cap is 20/20 Power.
* Power capacity can be increased by acquiring additional Computers or upgrading to higher-quality ones. (See the Power System section for more details.)\ <br>

Daily Token Cap

* Users begin with a 5/5 BYT Daily Cap.
* This cap can gradually increase up to a maximum of 300 BYT through Computer level progression.
* Once a user reaches the 300 BYT cap, they unlock the ability to permanently increase the cap beyond 300 by burning GBS or SOL.
* GBS has no daily earning cap.

The BYT earnings are influenced by several factors:

* PCE: Player's Computer Efficiency
* PCEC: Player's Computer Efficiency Coefficient (Boost/Socket)
* System value: Value set by the game developer, subject to change.
* Parameter: A range of system values

In essence, BYT earnings are affected by:

* Total Power
* Computer (Type, Attributes, Quality & Level)
* Boosts (Type, Level & inserted Socket Quality)
